Quick note: if you want to train your agents on auto-pilot, measure their performance, and engage + retain them to increase your per-agent transactions by up to 83%, talk to our partner here.

Barb just happened to find this in a file. In 1968, there were no computers showing agents all the listings. Her girlfriend’s mom was an agent back then. They had a Rolodex ( you youngen’s can look that up) where the listings were kept in.

This was all the info they had to go by. What piqued Barb's interest was a single line titled 'Reason for moving'.

Things sure have changed over the years.

Brent found this message on the bottom of a piece of furniture he had for over 20 years.

Translation:

“We’ve been trying to reach you. Your car’s extended warranty is about to expire”

Chuckles.

Kidding! Here’s the actual translation:

“In the year of the rat (1960) the war has started.

The foreign enemies invaded our country.

For a long time, brothers are separated

Now reunited, share with brother a cigarette

Take a drag then punched his balls to say thanks”

This is a typical Market Analysis in the days before there were any computer programs that could provide a format to do them.

In the 1970's Terri worked for a Real Estate Company and a Lender who did 2nd and 3rds. They would put together the perspectives with photos taped to the property profile. Pulled the data daily on the Dial-Up Dot Matrix Printer to update "THE" Book.
