NAR can't handle the truth

You might remember seeing industry headlines at the beginning of the year, such as "NAR Sees 3rd Consecutive Decline in Membership."

That's because the monthly reports from NAR indicated exactly that—membership declines.

Now both the monthly reports and all historical membership data are removed from the NAR website.

If you try to click on the link for the January report, you'll find "Page not found" on the NAR website. Also, the link to the historic reports which is the chart above (https://nar.realtor/membership/historic-report), now redirects to the main membership page.

Commission lawsuits scream for transparency in real estate, yet NAR's secrecy on past membership reports leaves us guessing.

Why the cover-up?

We should expect more membership decline, considering the drop in business opportunities over the past two years.

Anyway, I went to the Internet Archive/Wayback Machine and found the lost data, which you can access here.

Best,
